Virtual Teacher
The application process was super clear and went step-by-step. The hiring team kept me in the loop with regular updates. The interviewer was really professional and easy to talk to, and they seemed to know exactly what to ask. They gave me straightforward info about the job and the company, and honestly, they answered a lot of my questions even before I got a chance to ask them.
- How do you check a candidate's ability to teach using various methods and multiple platforms?
- Were you assessed on your capacity to teach using diverse digital platforms?
- Could you describe your experience teaching with different online tools and technologies?
Special Education Teacher
The interview process mainly involves a prepared video lesson. You have 5 minutes to showcase your teaching style and lesson planning abilities. While a full lesson isn't possible in 5 minutes, you can highlight your skills, explaining how you'd engage students, mentioning DOL methods, and detailing activities and differentiations you'd use. Since I've been developing my own curriculum for years, presenting this wasn't hard, but it could be tough for those new to creating lesson plans.

I was interviewed by two really nice people. They asked me a bunch of situational questions about how I would handle different scenarios and how my past experiences would fit this role. The interview lasted about an hour. They mentioned I'd hear back within the week about a potential second round.
