I was contacted by email to set up a phone interview, and we scheduled a 45-minute slot. However, they didn't call at the appointed time and also didn't reach out to cancel or reschedule. I was keen on exploring opportunities at a smaller CRO, especially coming from larger ones, but it seems I'll need to consider other options.

First, I submitted a video questionnaire via LinkedIn. After that, I had a Zoom interview with three experienced team members, including the manager. Finally, I had a phone call with the CEO. The whole experience was positive and engaging; they were polite and professional.

Behavioral

Easy relaxed interview process. Nice and friendly people but they lacked communication. I had to follow up on a time to schedule the first interview after receiving the interview offer. Also never got a "thanks but no thanks" email not 100% required but never heard back even after I politely asked for a status on the position. Seemed to only care about getting the job done and not going beyond what is needed.

Behavioral Technical

It was a long process with several phone and video calls with different people. Sometimes there were two weeks between stages. The people were friendly and interesting, but it felt like they might be a bit spread thin because it's a startup. They didn't proactively send a rejection message, which is typical but still not great.
