First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Proxibid.
Vice President
The interview kicked off with some nerves, but after some polite hellos and a handshake, things started flowing. We talked about my experience, my skills, and how I tackle problems. I tried to answer everything honestly but confidently. By the end, it felt much more relaxed, we even shared a laugh, and I felt a good connection. As I left, I felt hopeful that this chat might open some doors.
- What sports do you enjoy participating in?
Senior Manager
The interview process was straightforward and led to employment for a multi-year period. During my time there, I got to know many colleagues across departments. Things changed quickly after I was employed, but I was able to recover and stayed with the company for 5 years.
- Tell me about your previous system experience in your field.
Software Engineering Manager
Started with a phone screen with the recruiter, which was good and informative. Then had an interview with the hiring manager that felt like a good mix. The last part was a panel interview with the team, but they seemed really busy with their own work instead of focusing on the interview. It felt like nobody was really paying attention the whole time.
- What's your leadership style?
- How do you foster agreement within a team?
- What kind of environment do you aim to build for a team?
Marketing and Design
The interview was with three members of the Marketing Team (Marketing Director, Media Director, and Lead Production Designer). They made the interview very easy going, which made me very comfortable and much less stressed. They asked about my past experience and what it has taught that I could bring to this position. They also asked about my skills levels with design field, as far as terminology and software.
- How would your past experiences prepare you for this role?
- Can you describe your proficiency in design terminology and software?
