I applied online and got an automated rejection email a few weeks later, which was weird. Then, surprisingly, a recruiter called me a couple of weeks after that to schedule an interview. The interview seemed to go well, and I was set up to talk to the hiring manager the next week. I told the recruiter about the rejection email, and he said someone helping him probably messed up. That was a bummer, makes you wonder how many good people they miss out on. Anyway, I had a good chat with the hiring manager, and she said I'd hear back within a week about next steps. I sent a thank you note that wasn't even acknowledged, and then radio silence for over two weeks. I called the recruiter three weeks later because he told me to call him if I had any questions, and I left a message but never heard back. It's possible they passed on me after the second interview, or maybe that initial mistake got me lost in the shuffle even though I was qualified and had two good interviews. Either way, pretty disappointing. Both people I talked to were really into Mission Hospital's values of dignity and excellence, but their recruiting process didn't really show that.

I got a call from HR about a case manager job, even though I applied for staff nurse. They really needed someone! The interview was in two parts, same day. I met with managers and others around a table, and they asked a standard set of questions. I also met the HR person again elsewhere for more general questions. A few days later, I got an offer and had to do a drug test and physical.

I applied online and got a call from the recruiter. Then I had an interview with the recruiter, followed by a one-on-one with the hiring manager. After that, there were two panel interviews: one with my potential work team and another with other managers at the hospital. Finally, they checked my references, did a background check, and a medical check. If everything was good, I got the offer.
