Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Providence.
Customer Service Representative
I was emailed and texted about a job and given a contact to schedule an interview on Microsoft Teams. It was a written interview with three rounds of questions. The process felt pretty straightforward, and the questions seemed relevant to the CSR role.
- Tell me about how you'd handle helping customers who are upset.
- What's your approach to assisting customers that are stressed?
- How do you deal with customers who are rude?
Customer Service Representative
It was a quick interview but involved a lot of talking. They explained the position, what's expected, and reviewed my resume to see how it fits the role. They asked about my call center experience.
- Can you tell me about your previous work and how it connects to this role?
Customer Service Specialist
I found out that I had applied for a position that was now filled and not updated on the site, I am now crossing this company off my list. I spent 1.5 hours working on applying for a job I had no chance of getting. If there are lots of comments about recruiting customer service, Providence should consider taking it back in-house and being responsible for it. It is not leaving a good impression with job seekers.
- The people at the job fair weren't even from the recruiting company and hence, didn't have cards and want to connect on LinkedIn.
- They gave me a card that had a QR code.
- It was very impersonal.
