ServiceNow Consultant
The interview went smoothly. First, there was a chat with HR to get a better understanding of the candidate's profile. If approved in this stage, the second interview, which is technical, is conducted to assess their knowledge, skills, learning ability, and highlight their strengths.
- What are the ITSM processes within ServiceNow?
Manager
It was a pretty straightforward, non-technical interview, mostly scenario or experience-based. The interviewer didn't seem to have a deep grasp of the specific technology needed. It was a panel interview, and the questions focused on the concepts of the technology rather than the fine details. You could probably pass by just chatting casually with the panel and appearing knowledgeable.
- What would be your deliverables for the project?
Software Engineer
I went through 2 interview rounds, one technical and one HR. The HR round wasn't great. I had already told them my salary expectations before starting, but during negotiation, the HR person was really arrogant. It was obvious they couldn't match my salary, so she started bringing up how many jobs I'd switched. My thing is, all my experience is on the first page of my resume, and I told them my salary needs upfront, so why even start the interviews? Prov isn't a big name company anyway, and with that kind of HR attitude, they won't get any better.

Project Buyer
First, an HR recruiter called me to see if I was interested in the available position. Then, we had a phone interview. Later that day, they contacted me to schedule a technical interview with the hiring manager. Before that interview, I had to complete two exams (PI & PLI) off-site. After the interview with the hiring manager, they told me I was short-listed and would need to take an on-site exam (PLI), followed by an offer and medical check.
- Can you tell me about your previous role and discuss your knowledge and capabilities?
- What are your expectations for this job and the company?
