First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Proud Moments ABA.
Registered Behavior Technician
it was pretty simple. the video interview was about 15-30 minutes long and then the onboarding process started. the onboarding took a while, about 2 weeks to finish everything. if you haven't worked as an RBT before, the interview might be longer and have more questions. but if you're already an RBT with experience, it's not tough.
- When can you start a new case?
Client Care Coordinator
The initial interview was set up fast, and the person interviewing me was really positive and gave good info. It was mostly a 'get to know you' type of chat. The second round was online and totally different. The interviewer was more senior, asking really basic questions on a scale of 1-10, with low energy, and kept it short, even getting interrupted by a phone call.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- On a scale from one to ten, what is your organizational skill level?
- What are your responsibilities in your present job?
Administrative Director
A recruiter reached out and set up a meeting with the Regional Director to discuss the position and my qualifications. The following week, I met with the COO. I was told to expect contact from the Regional Director about the next steps upon her return from vacation. Later, the recruiter contacted me, surprised I hadn't heard back, and said he would check in. I never heard back from anyone. While I understand if I wasn't a good fit, a follow-up is professional courtesy, especially when recruited. The recruiter also mentioned they didn't know the exact budget but quoted a range of $90-120k, which seemed appropriate given the qualifications and staff management. I'm assuming the recruiter misquoted the pay since I didn't receive further information.
- What are your strategies for employee retention?
Sales and Customer Service Advisor
My interview with Proud Moments for a leadership role was a really bad experience. They were unresponsive throughout the entire process. After I finished FOUR interviews with different people on the team, they just ghosted me completely. It's not that hard to send a quick email saying I wasn't chosen. I followed up with the recruiter a few times, but never heard back.
- Can you describe your experience supervising other BCBAs in past leadership positions?
