The interview was smooth and engaging. We talked about my supervisory skills and experiences, what I expect from a job, and my integrity. It was an online interview with two or three interviewers asking questions. After I answered everything, they asked if I had any questions for them.

The job posting was for a Retail Marketing position, but in the second interview, it became clear the role was very different from what was advertised. They confirmed it would be a client rep position, essentially a third-party sales role. The salary also seemed to be misrepresented in the job description. I had to travel to Nashville twice for interviews, and another candidate came from Raleigh. The job description mentioned event coordination, but when asked about it, the interviewer said, "well... every day is kind of like an event I guess," indicating that much of the description was inaccurate.

Interviewee beware: this company operates in a pyramid scheme fashion. Once I recognized the red flags the interview quickly went sour. The first interview was a 20-minute conversation meet-n-greet, with most questions focused on learning my personality. I was invited to have second interview the next day to discuss operations and their pay scale. In the second interview I quickly recognized the pyramid scheme. The company has all the tell-tale signs: everyone starts at the very bottom making minimum wage in a retail environment, but your told that within 12 months you will be a director in the company. They say you will have ownership in the company, but they can’t explain how ownership is transferred to you. Part of the cycle of becoming a director includes hiring other employees which will then start at the bottom and will then work under you. Please don’t waste your time with this company. Their business plan is not designed for honest professionals.

The interview process was straightforward and consisted of 3 rounds. Although I applied for Account Manager, the initial role was Client Representative for training purposes for the actual position I applied for. The second round focused on discussing promotional goals, and the third round was for wrapping up any remaining questions.
