Teacher
The interview process is straightforward and the steps are outlined throughout. You will be asked why you are interested in working for the organization. Be prepared for a performance task, a telephone interview, and an in-person interview. Knowledge of diversity and inclusion is also important.
- What motivates your interest in this role?
- Can you elaborate on your understanding of diversity and inclusion?
Teacher
First, there's a phone screening. If that goes well, you'll have an in-person interview with the principal and department head. Passing that means you'll be set up for a demo lesson. After the demo lesson, they might call you in for a final in-person interview if they're still interested.
- What is your teaching philosophy?
Teacher
The interview was pretty straightforward. First, I had a phone chat with HR where we discussed typical teaching topics, focusing on diversity and how personal identity influences teaching. After that, I gave a demo lesson to the principal.
- Tell me about your identity and how it shapes your approach to teaching.
- How do you make sure every student feels involved and included?
- What strategies do you use to ensure participation and inclusion for all students?
