Virtual Executive Assistant
The interview process involved basic questions about previous jobs and standard interview questions like your 5-year plan. It was quite simple and not overly hard, though I would have preferred a phone conversation.
- Tell me about your biggest failure and the lessons you took away from it.
Financial Analyst
I had one interview. Although the first interview lasted for more than an hour, the recruiter spent most of the time introducing me to a lot about the company and the position.
- What is weight average?
Registered Nurse
I went to their job fair for the interview. It was super crowded, and I had to wait about an hour to talk to someone, but the interviewers were really nice, and it felt like time flew by.
- Could you start by telling me a little about yourself?
- In your own words, where do you envision yourself being in five years?
- What are your thoughts regarding the flu shot?
Contract Administrator
The director of the department reached out to me on Indeed. I had one virtual interview with three managers. It was a good interview. They mentioned they had been trying to fill the role and the position had been open since last Oct 2023. I appreciate bypassing the traditional recruitment process which made the process quicker. However the onboarding process is disorganized and there were a lot of red flags. The biggest being they don't take data security seriously. The HR coordinator asked to send my birth certificate or social security card over email. I didn't feel comfortable doing that. So one employee has a bunch of personally identifiable information of employees sitting in her inbox. I asked for a more secure method and they said they don't have one because they are virtual. I've had remote jobs and never once had to email anyone my documents. The pay was too low and the company doesn't issue laptops so it is a work-from-home job not remote.
