This was such a long interview process. I had 6 phone interviews, then a questionnaire, a case study, and an excel test. Then I got this questionnaire which was the craziest thing I've ever seen. It was another questionnaire with questions like 'Would you object to getting the flu shot?' and 'Who was the best and worst US Presidents of all time?'. There were also reading comprehension questions like a standardized test. After that, I withdrew my application. They said if I wanted to continue, I would have had 3 more interviews. All of this for an Associate role.

I applied for a business development role and after a few interviews with the hiring manager and some employees, I took a survey that helped the team understand me better. They then adjusted the job duties to fit my needs, like reducing travel so I could spend more time with my family. They worked with me to create the perfect role for me, which I really appreciated. Even though I accepted a part-time job elsewhere that I've known for a long time, I wanted to share how professional and great the experience was. I've worked with this firm before and they are well-respected in the industry.

I had a preliminary phone interview in 2020 with the HR department. It was a pleasant, cordial interview and at the end the interviewer let me know I’d be hearing back. Instead, I was completely ghosted. My experience wasn’t positive and I felt they could’ve at least sent a generic rejection email. I wrote a review about this and over two years later my review had been reported by the company and taken down. This doesn’t bode well for the company’s culture nor ability to receive constructive criticism on the candidate experience.

I submitted my resume and a few weeks later, an HR rep emailed to schedule a phone call. Shortly after that initial call, HR contacted me again for an interview with a senior team member. During this interview, the team member seemed distant and mentioned they needed someone who would fit in well with the existing team, leading me to suspect they might have already had a preferred candidate in mind. After the second interview, it took over a month for HR to follow up.
