So I had a panel interview with 2 people from the company. They asked me some basic questions about my experience with managing social media accounts. The interview was pretty direct and focused on whether I could handle managing multiple accounts at once.

The first interview was pretty straightforward. I did an SEO audit, which I think I aced because I put a lot of detail in it, showing my knowledge. The third and final interview was with the SEO Manager and the Director of Digital Services. I got the impression they weren't really feeling me from the beginning, even though I showcased what I could do. Honestly, it felt like it all came down to whether they liked me personally, not what I did on the audit (which felt like a waste of time). The DDS in particular seemed to look down on me, asking me for definitions of words, which was odd and made me feel like she thought I didn't know much about SEO. The whole thing felt like an interrogation.

The hiring process was pretty straightforward, they typically use AppleOne for recruitment. The interview itself wasn't too tough, though it did lean a bit into personal territory. They seemed to focus a lot on personal interest questions. To gauge genuine interest and to learn more about the 'product,' they wanted candidates to actively engage by calling specific company representatives with questions and by building a trial website on their platform, which they could monitor for activity.
