Customer Success Manager
Had a 30-min video call with HR that went really well. Then radio silence. No feedback for ten days despite several follow-ups, and finally got a rejection email.
- Tell me about your experience.
Customer Success Manager
I had an initial chat with the internal recruiter, then a second interview with the direct manager. The process would have continued with a presentation to a small panel, and then potentially an offer. However, I didn't get an offer after the second interview, so I didn't proceed to the third stage.
- Can you describe your experience in relation to the requirements of this position?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process began with a recruiter call to gauge mutual fit. Next, I spoke with the hiring manager, focusing on my account management and retention background, which secured my advancement. The subsequent stage was an on-site interview in Houston. This involved several interviews with CSM leaders in the morning, followed by a presentation in the afternoon. The presentation was either QBR or renewal focused, discussing client value for an uplift or their journey with the offering. After the on-site, HR confirmed next steps within 24-48 hours. I received the offer letter about a week later.
- How would you build a Customer Success Organization from the ground up?
