First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PromoWorks.
In-store Demonstrator
It was done over Skype. They asked me about my background and what I had done in past jobs. They also asked if I had any food handling skills and if I was free for a big demo event they had coming up. It was professional but moved fast. They were really nice about setting up the meeting time to fit my schedule.
- How would you manage a situation where a customer is unhappy with a product sample you provided?
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- Do you have any experience with food handling?
Client Service Manager
Submitted resume online. Had an initial phone call. Two days after, they called to schedule an in-person interview. They covered my flight and hotel since I wasn't local. The interview was in a hotel lobby, so I didn't see the actual office until I was hired. I met with three managers. Received a job offer two days later. Negotiated a higher salary with HR, but no other benefits.

Promotions Manager
I applied for an account manager position and got a quick callback because they were hiring immediately. The interview went well, but I wasn't qualified for that role, so they put me in consideration for a Promotions Manager position. It seemed to go well, but I didn't get the job because other candidates were more qualified. I thought I had it in the bag because they asked me back, but I was mistaken.
- What are your 5-year career aspirations, and do you see them including a future with this company?
- Can you outline your career goals for the next five years and whether you envision staying with our company long-term?
Operations
It's a standard interview process, with a few phone interviews initially. Then you'll meet with a few people from the company. It wasn't too hard or unusual. Meeting with different people was nice, and the recruiter was friendly throughout. Onboarding was straightforward.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- Could you tell me about your educational background?
- What are your aspirations for your career?
