I talked to 3 people who work there. They asked me a mix of technical and behavioral questions. I had 3 interviews in total with people from different teams. It felt like a chat and they wanted to see if I'd fit in with the company culture.

Behavioral Technical

Got some basic questions from 3 leaders, covering logic and hypothetical problems. This was way back, over 10 years ago. They were really trying to gauge my thinking process. Overall, it wasn't too rough.

Coding Technical

The job description was about data manipulation and ETL. Then they wanted me to take a Codility exam in JavaScript, even though it wasn't a key job requirement. I politely declined the Codility test, but they still wanted to interview me. I went in wearing a suit, but the office seemed chaotic, with lights off and wall art on the floor, giving a "zombie apocalypse" vibe. The interview was in a conference room with people dressed casually in cargo shorts and t-shirts. There were three people in person and two on the phone, all white men. They asked me to whiteboard in JavaScript, which seemed odd for a data-focused job.

Behavioral Technical Other

First, you'll have an in-person chat with the CTO, around an hour long. After that, they'll figure out if they want to set up an interview with the actual team you'd be joining. This first chat isn't super technical, it's more about getting to know you. It's also where they handle salary stuff. Then, there's a group interview, which can be different depending on who's there. Some might ask technical questions, others might focus on personality or other work-related things.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you list three ways a question mark is used in C#?

ProModel Interview Questions

Quoted word for word from ProModel interview reports.

Complete the Codility test: Remove consecutive duplicate characters from a string. For example, given 'ABCCA', the output should be 'ABA'. Another example: 'ABBCAACA' becomes 'ACCA', then 'AA', and finally an empty string.
