First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Promevo.
Java Developer
There were three interviews, a phone call, an HR chat, and then a meeting with the team manager. The whole thing felt pretty laid back, and the HR folks were super friendly. The CEO, who would have been my direct boss, was a bit of a mystery.
- Can you explain what a wrapper class is?
- Could you define a constructor?
- Tell me about the projects you've been involved with.
IT Support Specialist
I had a phone interview with HR, then an in-person interview with HR and a project manager. I had to reschedule because the Managing Partner couldn't make it. For the third interview, the Managing Partner (CEO) came in late and in workout clothes, saying he had a fraud case and only 10 minutes. He asked me a couple of questions but cut me off, saying I was taking too long or giving too much detail. He left abruptly. I commented to the HR person that I didn't think it went well, and she said he was just busy. I later found many negative reviews about him and the company, which explained the surreal experience. I was sent an email saying I didn't get the job, but I would have reviewed it anyway because the place seems corrupt and the positive reviews are fake.

Marketing
The hiring process moved fast. I was in a conference room with one manager who was there in person, and another manager joined via Google Hangout. They were super friendly and wanted to understand my strengths to best place me within the company.
- What kind of marketing do you imagine yourself in?
Software Developer
First, there was a phone interview, and then a Google Hangout. It was a pretty standard interview process. I wasn't sure what to expect since it's my first time job hunting.
- What is your familiarity level with Google products and GCP?
