Had a phone interview with HR. They asked straightforward questions and provided information about the company. My impression is it's not what you know, but who you know. I have been in the field of business for a while, but maybe that was not in my favor, age biased. Beware.

I applied online and about a week later the property manager reached out to schedule an in-person interview. The very next day, I got another invite for an interview with the portfolio manager. Later that same day, I got a call and they offered me the job. They said HR would send over the formal application and drug screening details. That came about a week later. The drug screening and background check results took about a month to come back. Once they had the results, I got about a week's notice for my start date. I checked out basic info on their website and their Craigslist ads to get familiar with the language they prefer. The interviews were okay, but the first one felt a bit awkward. The property manager was constantly taking notes (which they have to send to the portfolio manager) and also checking emails sometimes. Interviews with Prometheus are all about making a good first impression. How you present yourself and look will decide your chances.

I was called for an interview twice for the Leasing Consultant position. The interview questions were easy, but they never informed me about my interview after telling me to prepare for it. The Portfolio Manager replied late both times, stating they were not interested in hiring me and never provided a reason. I'm sharing this negative review not because I didn't get an offer, but because I wasn't given a reason for not being hired. I'm upset because I spent 2 hours on the interview, and they didn't bother to give me feedback. I didn't expect this from a large management company. The portfolio manager even encouraged me to keep applying for future roles, but why would I if I don't know why I wasn't hired? Interviewing with Prometheus is a waste of time.

The recruitment process was absolutely seamless, in no small part, due to my recruiter, Maria Torres. Maria is one of many awesome Prometheans you'll meet in a short period of time at Prometheus. Her limitless knowledge of the company and undying positivity were, in my experience, incomparable. Maria never 'oversaw' the hiring process. Instead, it felt as though we worked hand-in-hand and through a collaborative effort we achieved a common goal. The process was effortless and everyone seemed excited which, in turn, made me excited.
