First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prometeon Tyre Group.
Intern
I applied online and then had an online HR interview. After that, I had a 1:1 technical interview on-site where they asked a lot of questions about production engineering basics, quality concepts like six sigma and lean manufacturing, and my knowledge about safety.
- Can you tell me about lean manufacturing and six sigma?
- What do you know about lean manufacturing and six sigma?
Sales Representative
It started with an HR interview which went well. Then, there was another interview with the sales manager where they asked about my skills, experience, and knowledge. After two weeks, they sent the offer. That was the entire process.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What is your educational background?
- Can you describe your work experiences?
Quality Engineer
Getting feedback is super important for growing yourself and your career. It helps us see where we can get better, lean into our strong points, and polish our abilities. When we specifically ask for feedback, it shows we're keen to learn and grow. But, not getting any feedback even after asking can be a bummer and slow us down. It might happen for a bunch of reasons, like someone just missed it, they were too busy, or they simply forgot. Even though it's a letdown, try not to let it get you down. Instead, you can be proactive and look for feedback elsewhere, maybe from coworkers or mentors, or you can think about your own performance to get some ideas. At the end of the day, remember feedback is gold, but it doesn't only come from others. Use self-reflection and keep pushing to improve, even without formal feedback.
- Did you encounter behavioral questions during the interview?
- Were there any situational questions posed to you?
Production Assistant
The interview was simple with a presentation, a test with an essay, and an interview with the manager. However, I had a terrible impression of the company and those responsible for the selection. At the end of the process, the manager informed me that I had passed the selection process and that the next steps would be document submission and a medical exam. I went home very happy, only to be informed by email 10 days later, right on New Year's Eve (in a very unprofessional, robotic way), that they would not proceed with my application. I had to wait the whole weekend to contact them, and they told me that's how it is, that I hadn't passed the interview, that it wasn't the manager's place to give the answer, and that they couldn't give any explanation or even an apology, and that was it. As a professional and a human being, I felt extremely disrespected because, just as the company expects seriousness from us, we, who are in a position of lesser power and need to support a household, expect the same from it. One of the company's values is responsibility, something it failed to demonstrate to me as a person and as a worker.
