First contact was by phone. I sent my application via email and waited 4 weeks for an invitation to a personal interview. The interview was with the representative responsible for the region where they needed another sales rep and the sales manager for all of Germany. It was a 2-hour interview, mostly about my personality and my knowledge of the job and the company.

I applied online at the company website. A week later, HR staff emailed me for an interview with the HR recruiter. The questions she asked were basic behavioral/science background experience. Next, the regional manager called for an interview. I had the regional manager from the Chicago area. The interview went well, but I believe they wanted people with a Master's degree or higher. According to the regional manager, the Field Sales Rep position had an account around $1.6 million. Also, the regional manager told me that there were 10-15 applicants. Next interview would have been a technical interview.
