First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Project Resources Group.
Investigator
it was easy and laid back. they asked if i knew how to read and understand state excavation laws, etc, and read prints. if i knew how to work alone mostly, work professionally. knew how to operate camera, computer. had a vehicle and a current drivers license. The first call was basically a recruiter call and then there was a technical screen.
- What's your motivation for wanting to work here?
Claims Specialist
The interview was a pretty standard process. They wanted to see if you'd be a good fit for the job, specifically looking for someone with a "bold" personality. They asked the usual questions about your experience and how you handle organization. It wasn't intimidating at all, just make sure to be yourself because they're also looking for someone they can see themselves sharing an office with every day.
- Are you someone with a "bold" personality?
- Can you share about your past experience?
- What are your organizational strategies?
Project Coordinator
Someone from HR calls to do the phone screen. Not a recruiter. She calls and asks if you have 10-15 minutes and has a casual conversation about the company history, typical job duties, and what the current team is like. I got moved to the interview with the hiring manager which was in person. This took 20-30 minutes where they tell you more in-depth about the project, client, and responsibilities.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What would you consider your weaknesses?
- What is it that you are looking for in a new job?
Project Coordinator
It was a quick interview, but the overall process took a while and could've been faster if they'd communicated better. After my one-on-one interview, they said it would take 3 weeks to decide, hired or not. After 4 weeks, I hadn't heard back, so I emailed and called, but no one got back to me.
- Do you prefer working alone or as part of a team?
