First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Project HOME.
Internal Communications Coordinator
It was a four round interview process. The screening interview was with the recruiter. Second interview with who I would have been reporting to. Third interview with multiple employees at the organization. And fourth interview with leadership. I made it to the third round and didn’t receive an update after.
- How would you implement tech into the role
Community Health Worker
I had a really unprofessional experience with this organization. A recruiter contacted me and we scheduled an interview via Calendly. I showed up prepared, but the recruiter never called. When I followed up, I got a notification that she had canceled our interview and then a text saying she was out of the office and they'd already finished interviewing for the role. She suggested I apply for a different position and she would interview me for that one. No apology was given. I don't recommend applying here; it was a waste of my time.

Human Resources Recruiter
The interview process was great. I met with a good splice of the organization to get a good idea of the work going to be involved, and the work that the organization did. I had 3 interviews and each one was with someone higher in the organization. Everyone was very nice and not intimidating at all. The questions asked were quite standard as they used interview guides given to them by HR. A few questions were a bit personal and may not have been legal, but in this setting it was ok. Be prepared to be interviewing in a non-conventional meeting space in a residential facility with the clients around.
- What is your personal connection to the mission of this organization?
Coordinator
Sat through three rounds of interviews spread out over a month and a half. I was asked to and completed a 50-minute assessment. The hiring team and recruiter never bothered to let me know their decision. When I asked for an update, I got no response. It's a shame, because a simple yes or no would have been fine, and I wouldn't have lost any sleep over it. It really says a lot about the company. Just remember, job security isn't guaranteed, and you could easily find yourself in a situation where you're just waiting for a response.
