First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Project for Pride in Living.
Intern
I had a zoom interview with the hiring manager and two team members. They each asked me questions one by one, and I had time to answer.
- What qualities do you seek in a supervisor, and what kind of work environment do you prefer?
Career Specialist
There was a 30-minute phone screen followed by a 45-minute to an hour panel interview with 3 managers. The questions were pretty basic and related to the job responsibilities, about 10-15 questions in total. Since 2020, all the second round interviews have been virtual.
- In what ways does your background align with this role?
Fundraising Specialist
I met with the hiring manager and some other department staff. After the interview, I had to do a writing task. It took about 3 weeks from the final interview until I got the offer. They kept me updated on the hiring status, and it seemed to move pretty fast.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with donors?
