First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PROENERGY.
Manager
Had an initial phone screen, then met in person with the hiring manager. After that, I had virtual interviews with some other managers from different teams I'd work with.
- What makes you want to join this company?
VP Engineering
Great - Proenergy has great people and great leaders. Selling my business plan was my greatest asset. They put me in front of the entire EPC team including startup. The way they manage their people is second to none.
- How would you lead?
- What are your core values?
- How do you handle chaos?
Sales
They reached out and I went in for a face-to-face interview. Two people interviewed me. One guy asked some really weird questions and seemed really distracted. He barely acknowledged my answers. After it was over, they promised to call me either way about the job, so I wouldn't be left wondering. It's been three months and I haven't heard anything. I moved on to a better opportunity and I'm happy now, but I'm really disappointed with ProEnergy's business practices.
- Can you share your whole life story?
- What do you consider your weaknesses to be?
Mechanical Engineer
I applied directly and got a call for a phone interview. After that, they called me for an on-site interview. The interview itself was pretty easy, mostly asking about my past experience. They didn't cover any interview expenses since it's a refurbishing place that's really out of the way. Also, they don't offer visa sponsorship.
- Can you describe the manufacturing and repair processes for equipment?
