The hiring process was really great and smooth. I liked knowing what was going on and feeling the energy throughout. 1. Screen call - about 30 mins, where I talked about my situation and expectations. I also got info on what's next and who I'd meet. 2. European Talent Lead interview - I was nervous at first, but they made me feel really comfortable. We talked about why I'm switching careers and my choice to get into Recruitment. 3. Assignment - received the day after the second interview. It was to explain how I'd recruit for a tech role. Even though I'm not a big fan of presentations, I actually enjoyed this one (smiles from the audience help!). 4. Head of Global Talent Acquisition interview - some extra questions, focusing on vision.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was enjoyable and swift despite having multiple stages. The team was consistently friendly and supportive, and I was kept informed throughout. It began with a casual coffee chat with a member of the People Ops team, where I learned a lot about productboard. This was followed by an onsite interview, allowing me to meet more team members, understand the company culture, my core responsibilities, and the team's workflow. I also had brief calls with the founders to discuss future plans and their perspectives, which was a great experience. Although the process was demanding with a high hiring bar, I felt comfortable and able to be myself without feeling tested.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process involved about an hour with the Team Leader and other team members. Initially, I was quite impressed with the interviewers, the questions they asked, and how the company was set up. I was expecting to hear back in a few days, but instead, I was ghosted for over a month before getting a rejection email. The email apologized for the delay, citing additional interviews, and explained the rejection was because they needed someone who could 'step in and contribute right away.' During that month, there were no updates on the timeline or recruitment status, even though the team knew my notice period from the first interview. I don't usually write reviews like this, but their response felt insulting, especially since they talked a lot about providing excellent candidate experience as a recruitment team. I had been pretty flexible with my availability and went through four interviews, only to be ignored for four weeks.
