Project Manager
The interview process was great. They were organized and efficient. The recruiters were friendly and knew their stuff. It was an enjoyable process and the difficulty was about what I expected.

I interviewed with this company after my previous employer lost a contract. Two people were responsible for calling candidates for interviews. During my interview, the focus was more on probing my understanding of current processes and how things were done, rather than a traditional interview format. I asked about the negative Glassdoor reviews, and initially, they claimed ignorance, but upon referencing a specific review, they offered a dismissive explanation. When I inquired about benefits, they deferred providing details, stating that such information would be in an offer package. While I had seen reviews about poor benefits, it wasn't until I received the benefit details that I understood the extent of the issues. The small font size on the benefit sheet was a red flag, requiring a magnifying glass to read. Sick/Vacation time was limited to 10 days per year, combined. The 401K match was minimal, with a slow vesting schedule of 20% per year. The medical, dental, and vision coverage was inadequate, providing only about $450 per month towards services that cost around $350 more per month for employee-only basic coverage with high deductibles, resulting in a net loss even before considering dependents. Those who accepted offers reportedly had their salaries cut by about 15% and were expected to work overtime without pay. My advice if you're considering this company is to get all the benefit and expectation details upfront; you'll likely want to leave immediately. It seems like a bad company for employees.

Systems Engineer
I traveled from out of state for an in-person interview, covering my own expenses. The interview started a bit late, about 15 minutes, and began with them asking me if I had any questions. Most of the time was spent discussing why I'd want to relocate to the area, with a few questions about project management thrown in. My software development background, which the HR person had previously praised, wasn't brought up at all. I felt the interview went well though, and they mentioned they'd be in touch 'very soon.' It's been over 5 weeks, and nobody from ProActive has responded to my calls or emails. They recently reposted the job opening, so I'm guessing I'm not being considered anymore. Really unprofessional experience.
- Regarding requirements, what do you consider the most crucial element?
- Could you share your experience participating in a Kaizen event?
Graphic Artist
After applying, I was asked to fill out another application and send it back. Then, they scheduled an initial phone interview, but they were 20 minutes late. A week later, a second Skype interview was scheduled, but the interviewers weren't notified, so it didn't happen. They rescheduled a week later and also gave me a test. Two weeks after that, they decided not to fill the position at that time, but they keep reposting it.
- Were you asked if you had any issues working with people from different ethnic backgrounds?
