Technician
First, we’ll have a basic chat to see what kind of work you’re looking for. Then, we’ll ask you some basic questions about your experience and any leadership roles you’ve had. For a position at Magna, you'll complete 3 computer quizzes and a hands-on mechanic test. You’ll also need to pass a background check and a urine analysis – we'll give you the local places to get those done. If you meet all the requirements and we have a job for you, we’ll give you a call.
- Have you operated a forklift before?
- Can you work additional hours if needed?
Customer Service Representative
They asked a couple of questions but then just offered me the job. It felt like they were trying to get me out the door, and I didn't feel like I was welcomed or wanted. Honestly, it felt like a waste of my time.
- Could you share your greatest strength?
Medical Assembler
It was a pretty straightforward assessment process. First, there's an online test you need to complete before they'll even consider you for an interview. Once you get to the interview location, you'll take a simple reading and math test. Then there's a 'bead test' where you're given a limited amount of time and a sheet with instructions to assemble beads onto a very small wire.
- Can you explain how your previous work experience differs from the responsibilities of this role?
Recruiter
I met with the hiring manager one-on-one for an initial interview. Then, they called me back for a second interview where I met a future colleague. After that, I had a brief phone chat with the manager's boss. I got the offer within a week.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you share an experience where you collaborated in a team and what your specific contribution was?
