Esthetician
The interview process was smooth and stress-free. I first had a phone interview, and a few days later, we met in person. They asked about my experience and where I see myself in the future. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview, which I really appreciated. After we talked, they gave me a tour and showed me everything around.
- Where do you see yourself in the future?
Administrative Assistant
I applied online and heard back in two days from a recruiter via email. We set up a quick 15-minute phone chat about my qualifications and salary needs, then scheduled an on-site interview for a few days later. When I got there, I had to arrive 10 minutes early to watch a video on company benefits and policies, which I thought was a cool way to set expectations. I found it a bit weird though, being put at a desk near the entrance where someone mistook me for the concierge. The actual interviewers were great, taking me to their accounting office. The interview felt professional but still relaxed. They asked a lot of typical customer service questions. I was told I'd hear back that week about the next steps. A recruiter emailed the following week saying I'd hear by the end of that week. I sent a follow-up thank you and inquiry but never got a response. The interview process was good, but it was a bummer not to get a quick email saying they went with someone else, especially after being told I'd hear back.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- What are your current job duties and what does a typical day look like in your current role?
- What's the biggest mistake you've made at work?
Front Desk
I applied online for the front desk role at Pro Sports Seattle, and HR reached out to set up a phone interview. During the call, they asked about how I've dealt with tough customer situations and about my strengths and weaknesses to see if I'd be a good fit. After that, they wanted to schedule an in-person interview with the general manager and front desk supervisor. When I went in for the in-person meeting, I first watched a video about the company, benefits, and dress code. Then, I interviewed with the GM and supervisor, who asked many of the same questions from the phone call but also went deeper into my past jobs and customer service background. The same day, HR called and offered me the job.
- Tell me about a previous job where you had to deal with a difficult customer and how you handled it.
Hair Stylist
The interview process involved speaking with several people and was pretty standard. I can't recall everything because it was a while ago, but it felt right. It started online and then moved to more in-person interviews. I think there was one interview where I spoke with a couple of people at the same time, but that might have changed since.
- Questions focused on your past experience in hair styling.
