First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Printfresh Studio.
Designer
So, I was a former employee here. They interviewed me 3 times, each lasting several hours. These interviews were a mix of phone and in-person chats with various team members who asked me the same things over and over. The final interview happened after I completed a design test, and then they offered me the job. Later on, when I was already working there, I even helped interview candidates myself. Regarding diversity, it's pretty much non-existent. I remember during one interview session, a Black candidate pointed out the lack of diversity and expressed feeling unsafe, stating they wouldn't be a 'token hire.'

Intern
It was 1 phone interview, and then 1 face to face interview with HR and supervisor. Questions asked were related to resume details. Very comfortable environment. People are very nice. After the interview, they will ask for reference check.
- Can you elaborate on the details in your resume?
Designer
I showed up a little early, but then had to wait about 15 mins past when I was supposed to start. The whole thing took a few hours. I met with a bunch of different people, and they kept asking me the same questions from a list. Some of the questions didn't even seem related to the job, and a couple felt kind of personal. They also handed me a paper asking about my past salary. They spent about half an hour telling me about the company and their values. When they finally made an offer, neither of the CEOs were around to talk about the salary, so it was basically a take-it-or-leave-it situation.
- Tell me about the most challenging work experience you've had so far.
Designer
So first I had a phone interview where they asked me some basic questions. After that, I came in for an in-person meeting where I met with several people. The last step was a design challenge that I had to do at home.
- Can you elaborate on your previous work experiences?
- Tell me about your past employment history.
