It was a great interview where they asked me about myself and my goals. We talked about my experience managing people. They shared a lot of information about their clients and the growth they help them achieve. We also discussed analytics related to marketing strategies, specifically why clients would opt for certain approaches.

It started with a quick 2-minute phone screen, which was pretty straightforward. Then, they scheduled the main interview for the very next day. The office is located in Wilmington, which is a bit out of the way if you're looking to work in Boston. Upon arrival, they requested a copy of my resume and had me complete a questionnaire while I waited. This questionnaire touched on topics like what success means to me and what motivates me. There was a notable number of candidates coming and going, almost like a large casting call. I met with Cory, who I think is the VP or President, and he seemed very sharp. It became clear that the role is heavily sales-focused, despite the LinkedIn posting indicating marketing. The whole situation gave me a 'Glengarry Glen Ross' kind of vibe, which was unexpected. While the interview itself was respectful, the job description felt quite misleading. Towards the end of our conversation, Cory offered a second, hour-long interview and asked me to let him know by the end of the week via email or text if I was interested. I decided to decline the offer.

Started with a phone screen from HR, then met the CEO the next day for another in-person screening. Got invited back two days later for a one-on-one, then immediately went into a surprise third round. The first few people were nice, but it felt like they were pushing a high-commission sales role that might only pay minimum wage for door-to-door work. The last round was really uncomfortable; I wasn't even sure if I got the job at the end. He wanted to know if I'd accept before offering, and kept saying they needed to ensure they had the 'right kind of people,' implying that hesitating meant I wasn't the right fit. I had to press for a few hours to consider the offer, and he seemed suspicious I wouldn't call back by the end of the day, mentioning he needed to 'do something' with my application. It ended on a weird note. I didn't accept because it felt sketchy and benefits/paperwork were never discussed.

It was a decent process with two rounds. The first was a group discussion, and the other was a personal interview. During the interview, they mentioned I might be a better fit for a different role. The panelists were really nice and spoke politely. The HR person was also decent and provided good guidance.
