We had a few rounds. First, a technical round where they tested my Excel formulas, SQL queries, and problem-solving skills. Then, a managerial round to check my communication, project experience, and how I work in a team. Lastly, an HR round to talk about my background, if I'd be a good culture fit, and salary.

It was a terrible experience with Primus Global, a third-party payroll service for TCS. I traveled to the TCS location for a face-to-face interview, which went really well. I even got a call from TCS afterward saying they were happy with my profile. The Primus agent told me to wait and not to interview elsewhere because I was almost selected. But then, no updates came from Primus Global Solutions, even after I called them many times. I suspect they conducted the interview just to inflate their numbers, showing that many candidates attended.

So, I had my first interview and it went well, and after talking with the client, I was selected for the next round. Then I had a quick chat with the Primus team, and based on their feedback, I got moved to the next interview. But then, the day it was supposed to happen, it got cancelled because the panel wasn't available. They rescheduled it for 4 days later. On the day it was rescheduled, I just got an email saying the position was closed. They gave me a full explanation when they rescheduled and made sure I wasn't waiting around for other offers. But when the position closed, nobody even bothered to tell me directly, just a casual email about it being closed. My main point is, don't play games with people. It seems weird for consultancies that are making such a big impact in the market. I can't even describe how much this meant to me right now.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • After rescheduling my final interview, they sent an email a few days later saying the position was closed, right before the interview was supposed to happen.
