The initial phone screen was brief and superficial. The in-person part felt a bit high-strung for some reason. The interviewer seemed unprepared to answer questions about the company. It might be a good spot for someone just starting out, but it wasn't the right fit for me.

I spoke with the manager of primesource, and the interview was quick and direct. Then I had two more meetings with him. The last interview was with the manager of the machine shop. They showed me around the Hach facilities, and they were really nice and helpful.

I was contacted about this job real quick, like within 24 hours after I put my resume on monster. The first call was just a casual chat with a nice guy who asked me a few basic questions to screen me. We scheduled the first real interview for later that same week. That first interview wasn't too tough, just the usual questions you get. I talked to two people, and honestly, it felt like they were trying harder to sell me on the job than I was on myself. They then set me up for a second interview with the owner. That one was pretty straightforward too. They really want people who can handle a lot of work quickly and for long hours. I was interested, but I turned down the offer because of the hours. They said to expect 11-12 hours a day, Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays too. The pay and benefits didn't seem worth that much time to me.

I had about three or four interviews with different managers, and the last one was with the owner. They asked some easy questions and some that made me really think. They also gave me a lot of information about the job, almost like they were trying to scare me off with the tough parts to see if I'd still be interested. Everyone seemed to really love the company and their jobs. The owner was pretty cool and answered my questions honestly.
