The interview process was quite long, with significant gaps between each stage. There was also a lack of clear communication regarding the budget for the position, leading to a back-and-forth about whether the role was still open. The interviews with the senior team were quite intense and they seemed unwilling to hire anyone who might be seen as a future competitor. I did not have a good experience.

The interviews were alright. Not bad, but it was obvious that work-life balance wasn't a thing. They said the vibe was intense. They mentioned it was fine if I needed to log off in the evening to be with my kids but that I might have to 'make up those hours' after they were asleep. I liked that they were upfront about it, and it saved me from a place that wasn't a good fit. I decided not to continue.

This was a super long interview process with a lot of hoops to jump through. I had to prepare and give a mock presentation which took many hours. They asked for references, which is usually the last step before an offer. Then they took a whole month to give me feedback. It turned out they were hiring someone else already. This whole unprofessional and disrespectful process makes me wonder about the company culture, especially with the CEO and execs leaving and being replaced by people with no blockchain/crypto experience.

The interviewer seemed really formal, and the questions felt super rehearsed. I got a lot of standard company info, and some basic questions about my experience that could have been skipped if they'd actually read my resume. It felt like my time was just to tick a box for them, without really listening to my answers.
