I talked with two people who wanted to know about my customer service background and my general tech knowledge, especially concerning mobility scooters, since it's a specialized product. They were nice and respectful, no judgment at all. The job needed technical skills and knowledge about mobility scooters. They said they could train you if you had transferable skills relevant to customer service and the technical side of mobility scooters for helping customers and fixing problems. If you had a background in mechanical work, assembly, or tech, along with good professional and soft skills, you could still be a good fit even without direct experience. They were interested in how my past experience could be relevant to this role.

I first spoke with HR, and then had 4 more separate chats with different people, mostly over the phone. It sounds like a lot, but honestly, none of them were too tough. The whole process actually prepared me well for the job because I had to work across different roles, and I knew right away what each person was looking for.

The interview was only fifteen minutes, and it was a pretty good phone interview with just a few questions. I'm not sure I would get the position, but it would be good to work for this company.

An HR rep chatted with me about Pride Mobility, who they are and what they stand for. Then she asked about my thoughts on teamwork, why I wanted this job and why I left my old one. She also asked about my salary needs, what I did at my current job, if I did other jobs there too, what I did at my previous job, and why I left that one. She was very professional but also really nice and positive.
