Retail Assistant
The interview process involved a conversation where one interviewer asked me very personal and inappropriate questions, which made me feel uncomfortable. In hindsight, I realize I should have set a boundary, but I was surprised by the questions at the time.
- Are you thinking about having children soon?
Retail Associate
I applied in person for a temporary holiday retail job and was then invited to a group interview. It was with about 13 other students from school and uni. We were first put into groups and given some scenarios to figure out what we would do. While we were doing that, a manager watched each table to see how we worked with others. After that, I was called in for a short 15-minute one-on-one chat. It was pretty relaxed and straightforward overall.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced excellent customer service?
Retail Assistant
I dropped off my resume at the store and heard back fairly quickly via email within a few days. The email asked me to call them to set up an interview. I went in for the interview a few days later, and it was with the manager.
- Can you tell me about your biggest weakness?
