I went through 4 rounds of interviews for this Product Manager role and made it to the final round with the executive team within two weeks of my initial call. It's now been two months since I last heard anything. While HR was very communicative at first, there's been complete silence since then. HR initially shared very positive feedback from the team and indicated a decision was nearly finalized by the end of the two-week interview period, after which I was ghosted. The interviewers were all pleasant, but it seemed like the hiring team was uncertain about their needs and kept delaying a decision.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I first met the recruiting team at a campus career fair. HR was really interested in me and asked about my availability for an in-person interview. About two months later, a Senior Recruiter emailed me for an introductory phone interview. The next week, I had a second interview scheduled with a VP. He missed it, so I contacted HR, but the original recruiter didn't get back to me. Another HR person rescheduled for the following week. On the day of the interview, the interviewer texted to ask if we could reschedule again because of a family emergency. When we finally had the interview, it felt off, like the interviewer hadn't reviewed my resume. He mentioned he was outside due to noise inside, and I could hear wind and almost sounded like I was on mute. Afterward, he said he was getting on a train to the NYC office. He said he'd think about it and let me know Friday afternoon. I never heard back, and when I asked HR again, they seemed unaware. So, I stopped pursuing it. The whole process felt unprofessional.

I had a phone screen with HR, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, and finally three in-person interviews. HR was very helpful throughout. Everyone was friendly, but they ended up hiring someone else.
