The company was quick to move between interview stages. There were 4 interviews in total: HR, hiring manager, director, and senior director. It usually took 1-3 days for HR to let me know about the next steps after an interview. The entire process took about 1.5 months because of the holidays, vacation time, and scheduling difficulties. All the interviewers were approachable and preferred a natural conversation over sticking to a script. They asked standard behavioral questions that are best answered using the STAR method.

  • What is it about this role that interests you?

Behavioral Technical Other

The hiring process was a bit unusual and dragged on between interviews. HR wasn't very communicative. I ended up interviewing for a different role than the one I applied for, which the recruiter thought was a better match, but it wasn't. The hiring manager wanted to do a Skype interview, which struck me as odd since I don't live far away, but I did it anyway. They don't seem to be big on remote work, and there are no cubicles or offices, suggesting they operate very lean. This likely led to many questions focusing on your capacity to manage a heavy workload.
