First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pressler & Pressler.
Paralegal
After applying online, I got a call to set up an interview. The paralegal job at Pressler & Pressler isn't really about legal work; it's more like working in a call center doing debt collection. The interviewer was upfront about this, though.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What experience do you have from your previous jobs?
Paralegal
It started with a phone call, then I went in for an in-person interview. They asked typical questions about my past jobs. HR was the one interviewing. Everyone was really nice and made me feel comfortable. They explained the job well and it was easy to ask them stuff about the role. I got a tour of the office too and heard back pretty quickly.
- What aspects of your previous job did you not enjoy?
Associate Attorney
It was a two-part process, pretty one-sided. First, I talked to a senior attorney by myself, and then about a week later, I had my second interview with the partners. The partner seemed uninterested and didn't share any financial details. About a week after that, HR called with a number, and there was no room for negotiation.
- What is your understanding of collections?
