First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Presidio Trust.
Financial Analyst
It was a pretty standard interview process with questions mostly revolving around different scenarios and your career path. If you're prepared, you should do well.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a substantial dataset?
- Describe a situation where you dealt with a complex financial problem.
- Walk me through your career progression and future goals.
Director of Marketing Communications
I heard from someone at Presidio Trust, not in recruiting, and I won't name names for fear of review removal. They treated me so disrespectfully, it's unreal. I'd never work for a company that treats candidates like that. I'm glad I'm not moving forward with them.
- Could you explain why you thought your response was necessary?
Forester
I went through 3 interviews, and the last one was an in-person walk-through that took 2.5 hours. They asked me about my availability to start at the end. After a month of no response, I got a brief email saying the position was canceled. A year later, they told me they were hiring internally. It feels like something is off here, especially given past issues with sex discrimination and reviews mentioning a toxic work culture.
- Some general questions were asked
- Some technical questions were asked
Executive Assistant
This was by far the worst interview process in my career. I really wanted this position so I stayed motivated. It started with a two person phone interview on 9/20, an in person interview with four people on 9/24, a written test on 9/25, another phone interview on 10/11 and a last in person interview with four more people on 10/30. In between these interviews there was no communication and the government shutdown happened in the middle. Each time I was told they were eager to get this person started and should be making a decision immediately. After my interview on 10/30 another two weeks went by. I wrote the hiring manager to see if a decision had been made and quickly received an email back telling me they chose another candidate. Really??!!! After two months, not even the decency to let your candidate know they weren't selected?
- Tell me about your organizational strategies.
- How do you approach communication?
- Have you had experience supporting a team?
