& Process

It was a pretty simple process. We started with a screening phone call, and then had a digital meeting. The second interview was with the Market President and Vice President. I'd suggest being ready for standard interview questions. Both interviewers were really nice.

I got an email asking me to schedule a phone interview through the recruiter's online calendar. I scheduled it, but the interviewer was late and texted me to see if I still wanted to interview. I did, but the first impression was bad and unprofessional. After the phone interview, which went well, I was invited for an in-person interview with the direct supervisor. They were late again, and I had to wait for them. I was then told the next steps would be a final interview in the office with a skills test. Instead, I got an email Friday afternoon with two time-consuming take-home skills tests. I was asked to present part of the skills test to a panel via Teams the following Wednesday morning. It would have been helpful if they mentioned they were take-home tests so I could have planned better, especially since I had family visiting all weekend and into the week. Despite the frustration, I finished the first task and sent it back Monday morning, asking for a new presentation date because of my family visit. They said they'd follow up with a new date and then ghosted me. It's a shame because I was very understanding of their lateness, but they couldn't show the same courtesy. It shows me I don't want to work somewhere so unorganized and inconsiderate of people's weekends and expectations for extensive unpaid tests. I doubt anyone would want to work there.
