First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Premier Transportation.
Sales Associate
I applied online and then went in for an in-person interview. They made me an offer right after the interview. They also did a follow-up call and sent an email. They already had my resume on file, so I didn't need to bring one.
- Can you tell me about your past sales experience?
Driver
First, a call to go over the details about mileage, stop pay, and the customers. Then, a meeting about safety. You'll be hired if you're a driving school grad, have no criminal history, and a good driving record.
- What are your desired work hours?
- Do you require a fixed schedule?
- Are you able to be flexible with your schedule?
Truck Driver
My thoughts about the company are negative, so I would be an example of someone that did not enjoy my time with the company. They tell you one thing and deliver something else.
- Nothing is consistent at Premier.
- The drivers schedule is to be available everyday of the week.
- They call all the time and get mad if your turn down a load.
Warehouse Worker
It was a straightforward interview. They asked typical questions about my background and experience, and I made sure to give examples. It was also important to be upfront about my weaknesses. They were clear about what the job entails and what a typical day looks like.
- Do you have forklift certification?
- If you don't have a forklift certification, would you be open to getting one?
