First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Premier Research Labs.
Quality Assurance Technician
I had to interview 3 different times with different managers and then through HR. It was zoom and in person interviews. The overall process was longer than 3 weeks before an offer.
- Complete a comprehensive questionnaire.
Project Lead
Applied online, had some email chats with HR, got selected for an assessment. Then interviewed with the hiring manager, followed by the extended management team. After that, there was an in-person interview with the leadership team and HR. Finally got a job offer via email and we negotiated.
- What motivates you to join Premier Research Labs?
Sales Representative
I interviewed with three guys, the VP of Sales, a Sales Manager, and a Technician. They seemed okay but the whole thing felt really cheesy and unprofessional. At one point, all three of them left the room to deal with something, and the VP handed me a product brochure and told me to sell it to him when he got back. It was basically a 'sell me this pen' type of exercise. I'd seen reviews saying the company has a cult-like atmosphere, and I definitely got that vibe right away. Then I talked to the owner, who was really nice. After thinking about it for a day, I decided to withdraw my application because that's not my kind of selling – I'm not into transactional sales.
- Could you sell me this item?
- What's your sales approach like?
- What's your typing speed?
Quality Control
The whole process was pretty straightforward. I had one-on-one chats with two of my managers, and each meeting was under 20 minutes. They also showed me around the place and I got to meet some of the team. The questions were pretty standard stuff like "tell me about yourself" and "how do you handle a lot of work".
- Can you share an instance where you had a disagreement with a colleague and how you resolved it?
