First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Preiss.
Leasing Consultant
I had one phone call and then one in person interview with the leasing manager and supervisor. They got back to me within the week. The interview process was mostly behavioral and the people were really cool and helpful.
- How would you handle rejection?
Leasing Agent
I met with the leasing manager and marketing manager. They asked me some basic behavioral questions to see how well I'd do as a leasing agent.
- What's your approach to handling conflict?
Human Resources Assistant
First, there was a screening interview. Then, I had an in-person panel interview with the HR Team. It was a more casual interview where they asked about scheduling and some behavioral questions.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
Leasing Agent
After submitting my resume online for the PT Leasing Agent position, I was contacted via email and asked to schedule an interview. I went to the apartment complex for an in-person meeting with the property manager. We discussed the role, and the interview was straightforward. It seemed like they were mainly assessing my ability to be friendly, personable, and communicate effectively. I was informed that I might not start with leasing duties immediately, which is where the higher earnings potential lies.
- What was your availability like, and what was your intended length of stay in the vicinity?
