The interview process was very easy and straightforward. I was asked about my experience and what I would be able to handle when it came to working with clients. I didn't have experience at the time but they offered a 3 day course in office and 1 week of training with staff in the clients house.

I was told that I have all the right QUALIFICATIONS. Then told (wink wink) I am the wrong sex and race. I was told I was not the perfect team member. I am the wrong sex and color. This company is racist and violates the whole 64 Civil Rights Policy. IF YOU ARE AN EDUCATED WHITE MAN, STAY AWAY, THEY WONT HIRE YOU.

I submitted an online application and resume. About a week later, I got a call to schedule an interview. The interview was with someone from the department I applied to, not HR. He started by saying, "This is going to be the easiest and most laid-back interview you've ever had." He asked questions he made up himself. They were super easy. After asking the questions, he talked a lot about his own experiences working at the company. The interview went on for two hours because he wouldn't stop talking, which was really weird. I felt like I did great because I'm very qualified for the job. He mentioned he'd call the next day, but it's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything. The job is still open, so it's not a definite 'no' yet. He did mention the pay is $10/hour and the shift is 4 PM to 12 AM. The interviewer was unprofessional and disorganized.

I met with the Program supervisor for the Adult residential program in Jefferson City. The supervisor said I would meet with the Clinical supervisor later, but that didn't end up happening. About a week after, I got offered the job. I wasn't expecting it to be that intense of an interview, especially since I was 8 months pregnant at the time. I thought it might be a little harder to get a job that far into my pregnancy.
