Case Manager
I had a great interview with both the manager and supervisor. It was only 15 minutes total and I got hired on the spot. We even got to talking about regular everyday things.
- Can you describe a time you had to de-escalate a customer situation?
Contractor
There are two interviews. The first one is to explain the job requirements and briefly describe what's expected from you. Then, depending on your position, you go to another interview that is about 30 mins. They run through your resume and ask you questions based on that. It is a group interview by the way.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced and how you assumed a leadership role?
Electrician
I interviewed at a job fair at my college. I already had 13 years of experience at albert einstein hospital in the bronx and was looking for a new trade. I had previously been hired for the nyc corrections dept. They interviewed me one more time at their job site and I was hired hours later, so I took this job instead.
- Are you someone who works well in a team?
- Can you handle working under pressure?
- How good are you at following instructions?
