First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Precision BioSciences.
Quality Assurance Coordinator
The first interview was a phone screen with the hiring manager. They talked about what Precision does, the different roles on the team, and the specifics of this job. A few days later, they set up an in-person interview for the next week at their downtown Durham office. There, I met with three people from the Quality team, the EHS coordinator, and the recruiter. The interview lasted about 3 hours. After each round, I got quick info on what to expect next.

R&D Intern
I had an initial phone chat with a hiring manager from the team I'd be working with. They asked me about my interest in the role and my experience. Then, I progressed to the next stage, which involved a 2-hour Google Teams meeting with other members of the department.
- Can you tell me about your relevant experience?
- What prompted your interest in this specific position?
Research Associate
First there was a phone call, and then an on-site interview. The on-site was about 4-5 hours long and included group interviews with team members, managers, and HR. They asked very specific, conversational questions related to the job, looking for deep knowledge and genuine curiosity about the role.
- What aspects of the job description were most appealing to you?
