Software Engineer
So the interview process for me was like four parts. First, there was an HR chat, you know, standard stuff but they really wanted to hear about my strengths and weaknesses, like what I'm good and not so good at. Then came a technical interview, for me it was C# and Angular. They really dive deep into the tech stack you're interviewing for, asking lots of conceptual questions. Like, if it's C#, be prepped to explain OOP and other C#-specific stuff. After that, someone went over my resume, asking about my past roles, why I moved on, and what went well. They're looking for stories about your work, how you handled challenges, that sort of thing. The last interview was with the client, which I guess isn't always part of it. This one felt more relaxed, I think it was mainly for them to check my English. Overall, it felt like a solid interview, no whiteboard stuff, but they definitely want you to be able to talk smoothly about the concepts in your main tech stack.
- Can you discuss your strengths and weaknesses?
- What are your thoughts on OOP concepts within C#?
- Could you elaborate on C# interfaces?
Software Engineer
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for the Associate Software Engineer role. We had an initial 30-minute chat where they asked about me and my background, and also shared details about the company and their needs. Next, I completed a coding challenge, which I passed. Then, I had a 2-hour technical and biographical interview covering my experience, personal life, and software development topics. After a few days, a recruiter contacted me again and extended an offer, which I accepted. Overall, it was a really positive experience; the team was very welcoming and supportive.
- There were many questions about my work experience and personal life, all of which were quite interesting.
- Some questions also touched on software development topics.
- A few of the subjects covered were Javascript, Node.js, React, SCSS, SOLID, and Agile Development.
Software Developer
I got an invitation for the screen interview. We discussed the topics related the job description. Then, I got a second email to set the "next" interview, which never happend. I sent an email to the recruiter to confirm this interview and he never answered, which I consider pretty rude and unprofessional. If you consider someone is not a good fit for the position, just send an email. I don't see why it's so difficult to do that. As other reviews about the company, this is a repetitive behavior.
- Can you discuss your background and experience?
