First, I had a screening call with the VP of Operations that was about 30 minutes. We talked about my past experience, but it was mostly focused on soft skills and introducing ourselves. The VP was really cool, easy to talk to, and supportive, and helped me understand what to expect. Then, I had a 60-minute Biographical and Skills Interview with the Practice Director and hiring manager. It was split into two parts. The first part was about walking through my career chapters, and they asked questions like what I was hired to do, my biggest accomplishments, and low points. The second part was more about skills and went into more detail on any remaining questions or concerns they had. It was really refreshing, and they seemed genuinely interested. I actually enjoyed prepping for the biographical part because it made me reflect on my past experiences and feel proud of them. It stood out from other interviews and was a great experience.

It was a pretty straight forward and easy process. You talk with a recruiter and if they move you forward then you meet with the Directors of Product to discuss everything product design-related. It is more on the challenging side because you answer a lot of questions.

The entire Praxent team was really on time, kept in touch, and were super helpful throughout the whole interview thing. It was three separate parts, all done online. First, a quick phone chat, then they looked at my background and portfolio, and the last bit was a deep dive into what I've done before. They were really professional, but also made it clear that we were interviewing them too. After each part, there was time to ask stuff, get answers, and learn more about the company.
