First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Prasarana Malaysia Berhad.
Legal Counsel
There were a couple of interview rounds, and the people were really nice. The interviews weren't too difficult, and the questions were all pretty reasonable. I was a bit unsure why someone from a different department was involved in the interviews, though.
- Can you describe your experience and background?
Associate
I was invited for an Associate position via email, but upon arriving at Prasarana Tower for the interview, I was told the position had already been filled and the interview was actually for a Senior Associate role. It was quite a trip for nothing since the Associate role was already taken.
- Can you describe your responsibilities in your current role?
VP Product Management
The interviewer was mainly focused on my past working relationships, specifically with my previous managers. It turned out he knew one of my ex-bosses and was aware of some difficulties. It was quite an uncomfortable situation, and I didn't find it very professional.
- Can you describe your relationship with your former supervisor?
Public Relations Officer
I got a recommendation from someone I knew before. So it was the usual process of filling out HR paperwork, then I had a 1st interview and got through to the 2nd interview. Then I was hired. Because I had about 15 years of experience back then, my interview process was pretty quick.
- Would you be willing to accept this role even if it's a step down in terms of your experience, academic background, and previous seniority?
