It was an open house event to bring in many candidates. It really felt like a cattle call in a very noisy environment. The interviewers seemed more focused on processing as many people as possible rather than assessing each individual. Interviewers were distracted and even got pulled away during the interview. In total, I had about 7 minutes with 3 different people.

A contact from my network referred me to this role and things moved quickly; it took about 3 weeks from submitting my resume to getting an offer. It's a mid-size company dealing with some growing pains. I spoke with two VPs who were sharp, quick, genuine, and sensible, without any big egos to manage. The expected workload seemed well-organized and balanced, with opportunities to improve current methods. The salary and other benefits were appealing, except for the 6-year vesting period, which had very little room for negotiation.

I was referred to Pragmatics. First, I talked with the Director of Recruiting and the Director of HR. Then, I chatted with 3 other Recruiters from the team. They were really helpful and answered all my questions. I felt like I could fit in and work with everyone I met.

I had a quick onsite interview with two managers. They asked some basic questions about my background in the field. Then, they explained what a typical day would look like and shared info about extracurricular activities, which I thought was awesome. It seemed like they really care about their employees and making work engaging.
