Implementation Specialist
The interview process began with a recruiter screening, primarily to discuss the role and confirm interest since it's a quota-driven position. Following that, I had a casual phone call with the hiring manager, where we talked about my concerns regarding the role and what I'm seeking in my next job. I mentioned wanting to learn more about the sales process and highlighted my competitive nature and drive for success. The next step was a 2-hour on-site interview, which included four 30-minute segments. The first was a sales pitch, but since I hadn't been in sales before, I presented a product I had experience with using a PowerPoint. Be ready for clarifying questions during this part, though they weren't overly difficult. After that, there were three 30-minute behavioral interviews, which were quite relaxed. Two were with team members, and the third was with the hiring manager. Everyone was very friendly and seemed most interested in how my previous experiences could translate to the sales role and why I was enthusiastic about it and confident in my ability to succeed. I had to withdraw from the process due to another offer, but the experience was positive up until the lengthy wait for feedback.
- Could you explain what urgency signifies to you and how you foster it with customers?

The whole thing took less than two weeks. First, a recruiter called me, then I spoke with the hiring manager on the phone. After that, I went in for in-person interviews. Each chat was about 30 minutes. I met with the recruiter, the hiring manager, the team lead, and the director. Finally, I met with everyone again, minus the recruiter, to give a sales pitch. Pretty simple process.
- Can you sell me a PB&J sandwich?

A day after applying online, I got an email from A REAL PERSON at Practice Fusion letting me know they had received my application and would like to set up a phone interview with me. A recruiter called me and we had a 30 min phone interview to tell me more about the company/position and for me to describe my experience. Mid-interview, the recruiter suggested another position for me as my skill-set surpassed the original position I applied for. He set up another phone interview with a manager in the dept I would be working for. I think this speaks so much to what kind of company Practice Fusion is- they really want to find someone who is a great fit for the positions they are filling and will not settle. After my second 30 min phone interview, I was followed up with via phone and invited to come on-site. The on-site interview was a few days later for 3 hours and involved meeting with the original phone interviewer, managers, team members and directors of the dept I would be working in. I felt a friendly, inviting vibe as soon as I walked in the doors of PF and left DYING to hear back with an offer for the position. I was so excited when I was offered and obviously accepted. Couldn't be happier!!
- Tell me about your past experience.
- Can you describe what you would do in a given situation related to the position?
- Give a sales pitch for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
